Position: Mainframe COBOL Consultant

UI/Web technologies ( React JS, Angular, Java script, HTML5, CSS3)
Database (RDBMS)
Cobol
The candidate should have at least 7+ years of experience performing design, technical analysis and construction of quality COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL and CICS solutions. Knowledge of MQ is a plus.
The candidate should have at least 7+ years of work history in application development, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth Management
The applicant should have experience in a structured SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process; Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Production implementation
Knowledge of QA Procedures, guidelines, and controls

Candidate should also have an entrepreneurial spirit and be adaptable to new situations and challenges.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a strong interest in acquiring deep subject matter knowledge about the application and related functional areas
Candidate should expect to work in a global team along with North America team members and he or she may be responsible for more than one project at a time as well as maintenance and enhancement requests
Candidate should note that this will be a very hands-on technical role and s/he will be required to do application software coding and testing, code reviews and QA/Production implementations (at minimum)
