Job Description

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Analyst to join the Cybersecurity Threat & Vulnerability Management Team. This role will support the enterprise-wide Cloud Security Resilience Program with a strong focus on securing cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Wiz.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD security integrations, and automation using Python and Terraform. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-scale cloud security initiatives and help reduce organizational risk through automation and best security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support Wiz across AWS and Azure environments
• Partner with business units to remediate cloud vulnerabilities and compliance findings
• Secure CI/CD pipelines and support DevSecOps initiatives
• Support security for AI models and datasets
• Build automation using Python, Terraform, and GitHub Actions
• Develop baseline cloud security controls and assist in policy implementation
• Track and escalate unresolved security findings to ensure timely remediation
• Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines and S-SDLC processes
• Educate developers, platform owners, and application teams on cloud security best practices
• Maintain awareness of enterprise security policies and vulnerability management standards

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Wiz
• Experience securing cloud environments in AWS and Azure
• Expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, and IaC security
• Strong scripting/automation skills using Python
• Experience with CI/CD security and GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of cloud-native security tools such as:
• AWS Control Tower
• CloudWatch
• Service Control Policies (SCPs)
• Azure Security Center
• Experience with vulnerability management and cloud compliance
• Familiarity with YAML and JSON
