Mechanical/Electrical/ Plumbing Professional Engineer

JSG (Johnson Service Group, Inc.) is seeking an experienced Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing Engineer to support the growth of its healthcare-focused MEP practice. This remote role involves designing and coordinating systems for healthcare projects, developing construction documents, and mentoring junior staff while contributing to business development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Design and coordinate Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing systems for healthcare and commercial projects
• Develop construction documents, specifications, calculations, and technical reports
• Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in client meetings and help support business development efforts in the Southeast region
• Mentor junior engineering staff as the team grows
• Assist leadership in establishing and expanding a future brick-and-mortar office presence
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and healthcare regulations
• Support project delivery from conceptual design through construction administration

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD required
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a growing team
• PE license preferred, or candidate must have passed the PE exam / be actively pursuing licensure
• 5+ years of MEP engineering experience preferred
• Healthcare project experience strongly preferred (hospitals, clinics, medical office buildings, surgical centers, etc.)
