Boulevard is a company that provides a client experience platform for appointment-based self-care businesses. The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Intelligence will build and lead the competitive intelligence function, turning market insights into actionable strategies that influence product positioning, pricing, and sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Build and scale Boulevard's competitive intelligence program from the ground up, establishing it as a core Product Marketing function
- Own a centralized competitive intelligence repository as the single source of truth, replacing fragmented input with structured, trusted insight across the organization
- Conduct deep, creative competitive research that goes beyond surface-level materials to uncover meaningful insights into competitor products, positioning, pricing, and strategy
- Embed AI into how you work: from scanning competitor moves and synthesizing teardowns to drafting battlecards. You’ll also rethink the formats that intel shows up in, moving beyond static decks toward AI-powered tools, briefings, and assistants that fit within existing workflows
- Develop a competitor tiering model to prioritize focus, and define the tooling and tech stack to support a scalable, high-impact CI program
- Analyze competitor announcements, product launches, and market movements, and develop forward-looking POVs on where competitors are heading. You’ll synthesize these signals into executive-level narratives that can be shared during exec and board meetings
- Run competitive briefings for customer-facing teams, and provide ongoing insights to Product, Product Marketing, and leadership to inform positioning, roadmap, pricing, and packaging
- Partner with the Content team to develop high-quality competitive content and assets
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Competitive Intelligence, Product Marketing, or a related role in a SaaS environment
- Proven experience building and owning competitive intelligence programs and repositories that drive impact with Sales and Customer Success teams
- Demonstrated curiosity and resourcefulness in uncovering non-obvious insights and connecting disparate signals
- Strong understanding of modern CI tools, workflows, and emerging approaches. Deep use of AI is an expectation
- Strong communication skills: the ability synthesize complex info into clear insights that influence cross-functional stakeholders and executives
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over output quality
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building new systems from scratch
- Experience in vertical SaaS, particularly in selfcare (medspa, salon, or spa industries)
- Experience supporting mid-market or enterprise sales motions
- Background in strategy, consulting, or market research
- Experience building competitive intelligence programs from the ground up in a high-growth environment
