Aerial Imaging Intern

Overwatch Imaging is an imagery intelligence technology company focused on sensor autonomy for airborne missions. They are seeking a Summer Drone Operations & Computer Vision Intern to support drone operations, aerial imagery collection, and computer vision data development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Study for and obtain FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification
• Learn operation and mission planning for the Skydio X10 drone platform with VT300-Z gimballed camera payload
• Conduct drone-based image and video collection missions
• Organize, process, and manage aerial imagery datasets
• Label imagery data for computer vision and machine learning workflows
• Support mapping and photogrammetry exploration activities
• Assist with testing and iterating computer vision models using newly collected data
• Explore drone API integrations and automation capabilities
• Create documentation and operational procedures for drone workflows
• Assist in development of demonstration and product marketing video content
• Present project findings and support internal team training on drone operations
