Cigna Healthcare is dedicated to improving the health and vitality of those they serve. The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and supporting software solutions while collaborating closely with leaders and team members to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support complex software projects from start to finish
- Help define standards, tools, and frameworks with senior leaders
- Take part in all phases of development, including planning, design, and build
- Make sure solutions meet business needs and quality standards
- Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members and leaders
- Support production issues by researching problems and suggesting fixes
- Help improve processes and take part in team and cross-functional projects
- Use strong judgment and creativity to solve problems and drive results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or similar work experience
- 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer or similar role
- Experience with front-end tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience working with databases, web servers, and user interface design
- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub, or TFS
- Knowledge of software development best practices and design patterns
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development
- Experience with .NET Core and Angular is a plus
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, or event-driven systems is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems is a plus
