Technical and operational responsibility for our Atlassian service stack (in particular Jira, Confluence and Jira Service Management)
Ensuring stable, secure and scalable operations as well as continuous development of the Atlassian platform
Advising on the implementation of processes and requirements and serving as a sparring partner for system owners, product owners, business units and IT management on equal terms
Collecting, evaluating and structurally implementing functional and technical requirements
Designing, customizing and optimizing Jira and Confluence setups (workflows, screens, fields, permissions, project and space structures)
Building and maintaining automations (e.g., Jira Automation, ScriptRunner)
Integration and configuration of common Atlassian Marketplace apps
Defining and establishing standards, governance rules and best practices for platform usage
Supporting teams in the efficient and effective use of Atlassian tools
Identifying optimization potential in operations, processes, licensing and costs
Creating clear technical documentation to ensure sustainable knowledge build-up.
Requirements
Solid and in-depth expertise in building, operating and administering the Atlassian Cloud platform, especially the applications Jira (notably Jira Service Management) and Confluence (more than 5 years of experience).
Experience with Jira Service Management and a solid understanding of ITSM processes (ITIL knowledge is an advantage) as well as experience with Rovo and common AI tools and implementations desirable.
Technical know-how in extensions and integrations, e.g., ScriptRunner, Xray, JMWE and REST APIs
Ideally experience with Jira Assets
Ability to structure, prioritize and translate complex requirements into sustainable solutions
Good understanding of governance, standardization and platform operations
Independent, solution-oriented working style with high standards of quality
Clear, service-oriented communication and confidence in interacting with different stakeholders
German at C1 level and good English skills.
