They are seeking a hands-on and execution-focused leader as the Director of Enterprise Project Management to drive enterprise initiatives from idea to execution while coordinating across teams and maintaining project momentum.
Responsibilities:
- Personally lead and coordinate multiple enterprise initiatives simultaneously across operational, clinical, and support center functions
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risk logs, and accountability trackers
- Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and executive working sessions
- Drive follow-up, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination to keep initiatives moving forward
- Escalate risks, delays, and competing priorities appropriately
- Partner closely with operational, clinical, and support center leaders to align priorities and improve execution consistency
- Help manage organizational capacity and identify project conflicts or change saturation
- Ensure projects account for clinical workflows, patient experience, staffing realities, and operational impact
- Support implementation of enterprise initiatives across a multi-site healthcare environment
- Maintain enterprise-level visibility into active initiatives, timelines, dependencies, and progress
- Translate complex project information into concise executive updates and actionable next steps
- Standardize project management tools, meeting cadence, dashboards, and reporting
- Reinforce accountability and follow-through across teams without direct management authority
Requirements:
- 7+ years of project, program, or operational leadership experience
- Proven success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong facilitation, organizational, and execution skills
- Ability to influence and drive accountability without direct authority
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Operations, or related field
- Experience in healthcare, physician practice management, ambulatory care, ophthalmology, or optometry
- PMP, Agile, Lean, or related project management certification
- Experience supporting operational, systems, or technology implementations
- Experience working in a high-growth or private equity-backed environment
- MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree
