Fountain is a leading enterprise solution for frontline workforce management, seeking a Project Manager for Media & Analyst Relations to enhance their external communications strategy. The role involves managing media relationships, analyst engagements, and crafting compelling narratives to elevate Fountain's brand in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Build and grow relationships with top tier reporters covering HR tech, enterprise software, AI, and the future of work
- Proactively pitch stories that elevate Fountain’s brand and category leadership
- Manage inbound media opportunities and help shape timely, thoughtful responses
- Write compelling press releases, media pitches, briefing materials, and executive talking points
- Support communications during sensitive or high-visibility moments
- Lead engagement with Gartner, Forrester, and key boutique analyst firms
- Coordinate analyst briefings, demos, and inquiry sessions
- Drive Fountain’s participation in major industry research reports and evaluations
- Monitor analyst insights and trends, translating them into actionable internal updates
- Partner with executives to build strong external profiles through bylines, speaking opportunities, awards, and industry events
- Identify and manage opportunities that position Fountain as a leader in workforce innovation
- Help shape executive narratives around hiring, labor trends, AI, and the future of frontline work
- Maintain and evolve core company messaging and press materials, including fact sheets, executive bios, and boilerplate
- Ensure consistency across external communications and public-facing channels
- Help sharpen Fountain’s voice in a rapidly evolving market
Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in PR, communications, or analyst relations, ideally in B2B tech or enterprise SaaS
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills - you can craft strong first drafts quickly and confidently
- Comfortable learning and demoing product capabilities firsthand
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Confident working directly with executives and cross-functional leaders
- Agency experience is welcome; in-house experience is a plus
- Open and willing to travel as needed, approximately 1 - 2 times per quarter
- Existing relationships with reporters covering HR tech, workforce tech, AI, or enterprise software
- Experience supporting or running analyst relations programs
- Familiarity with frontline labor trends and the evolving workforce landscape
