Cytora, now an Applied Systems company, is reshaping the insurance ecosystem with their AI-powered platform. They are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join their Customer Success Team, where the role involves supporting client delivery, collaborating with senior analysts, and contributing to continuous improvement through AI tools.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day work within the client delivery team, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and risk identification under the guidance of your Delivery Manager
- Work alongside Mid and Senior Level BAs to develop your understanding of client delivery, best practices, and the broader BA function
- Participate in client discovery workshops, learning to identify opportunities for Cytora to add value
- Help translate client business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and process designs
- Assist in identifying data inputs, system integration points, and exception scenarios during solution design
- Support analytical reporting of product performance using tools such as Thoughtspot
- Learn to design and document AI-driven workflows, including prompt strategies and reporting processes
- Look for opportunities to improve efficiency through AI tools — including automating repetitive tasks and improving documentation
- Support test activities including writing acceptance criteria, assisting with UAT, and documenting edge cases
- Collaborate within agile delivery teams, learning to manage priorities and dependencies
- Contribute to continuous improvement by monitoring live solutions and flagging areas for enhancement
Requirements:
- Some Business Analysis experience or relevant transferable skills (internship, placement, or early career welcome)
- A willingness to learn how to engage with clients and stakeholders in a professional, confident manner
- Curiosity about AI tools — including prompt engineering and AI-assisted workflows — and a desire to develop hands-on skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English is required
- An interest in or exposure to the insurance sector (underwriting, claims, policy administration, or distribution) is a plus — but not essential
- Multilingual skills are a bonus — additional languages are advantageous
