East Park Avenue is a respected Gulf Coast food distributor focused on disciplined growth and operational improvement. They are seeking a hands-on Sales Manager who can drive new business, grow key accounts, and lead a sales team while building a strong sales culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business across restaurants, hospitality groups, casinos, distributors, and other key accounts
- Grow and manage existing customer relationships
- Lead and hold the sales team accountable to performance expectations
- Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and team execution through HubSpot CRM
- Work closely with operations and purchasing on inventory and customer commitments
- Analyze sales performance and profit margins
- Oversee product movement using reporting and data
- Develop pricing strategies focused on profitability and long-term growth
- Identify performance gaps quickly and take corrective action
- Help build a sales-first culture focused on urgency, execution, and results
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in food distribution, seafood, poultry or food service sales
- 2+ years leading or managing a sales team
- Proven success developing NEW business, not just managing existing accounts
- Strong understanding of margins, pricing, and perishable goods
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
- Know the Gulf Coast market
- Have existing restaurant, hospitality, or foodservice relationships
- Have worked in a fast-paced distribution environment
