UI/UX Designer

Endava is a technology-driven company focused on creating impactful digital experiences. They are seeking a Mid-Level UI/UX Designer to independently manage the design process for product features, ensuring scalability and accessibility in user-centered digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

• The primary purpose of the Mid-Level Designer role is to independently own the end to end design process for product features, creating scalable, accessible, and user centered digital experiences
• By leveraging advanced proficiency in design systems, research methodology awareness, and cross-functional collaboration, the Mid-Level Designer translates user needs, analytics, and data insights into actionable, high-quality design solutions
• This role is crucial for driving design execution, influencing project roadmaps and technical feasibility discussions, and applying strategic thinking to continuously improve both the user experience and design efficiency

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design
• Advanced knowledge of user-centered design and design thinking methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and design systems
• Ability to own the end-to-end design process for features
• Ability to create comprehensive and user-centered designs
• Ability to seek research feedback and understand user needs and workflows
• Ability to create clear specifications and review dev UI stories
• Ability to analyze user analytics data and translate insights into design recommendations
• Ability to leverage AI-powered design tools
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new design technologies
• Eager and driven to build upon established design skills
• Ability to drive collaboration with product, research, and development teams
• Ability to assist in design thinking ideation and strategy sessions
• Ability to identify and solve user-centered design problems
• Ability to apply strategic thinking to improve user experience and design efficiency
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
• Participation in both internal meetings and external meetings via video calls, as necessary
• Ability to go into corporate or client offices to work onsite, as necessary
• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer, as necessary
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead, as necessary
• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment, as necessary
• Vision abilities including close vision, toleration of fluorescent lighting, and adjusting focus, as necessary
• For positions that require business travel and/or event attendance, ability to lift 25 lbs, as necessary
• For positions that require business travel and/or event attendance, a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required
