About this role
Nielsen is a leading company in the Broadcast Media industry, dedicated to providing powerful insights that drive client decisions. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage Real Estate Facilities Operating Expenses, Capital Expenditures, and to work cross-functionally with various teams, ensuring financial reporting and strategic savings are effectively handled.
Responsibilities:
- Management of all Real Estate Facilities Operating Expenses, Capital Expenditures, and Strategic Savings
- Understand how the Real Estate portfolio operates financially
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience for financial reporting done for both the Real Estate Team, as well as the Finance Team
- Managing Operating Expenses is your primary function
- Build relationships with not only the Real Estate team, but will need to be comfortable working crossfuntionally with: Accounting & Finance
- Able to speak to non- finance partners with ease
- Uses best practices and knowledge
- Solves complex problems: takes a new perspective using existing solutions
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Requirements:
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate Nielsen in the market
- Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Able to work in Google Sheets or Excel with financials
- Build Google slides with financials to present to teams
- Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas
- Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
- 5-10 years, track record of independent work product
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree or certifications preferred
