Slide Insurance is a company driven by innovation and collaboration, seeking a Financial Analyst to support its growth in the Property & Casualty insurance sector. The role involves delivering insightful financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
- Perform variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key operating metrics
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, dashboards, and KPIs
- Support executive leadership and department leaders with actionable insights
- Assist with business cases, ROI analysis, and strategic initiatives
- Prepare ad hoc analyses for senior leadership and business partners
- Partner with Accounting, Actuarial, and operational teams to validate data and performance drivers
- Support GAAP and statutory (STAT) reporting and related regulatory requirements
- Maintain documentation to ensure accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness
- Support investor relations and public company reporting, as needed
- Contribute to system enhancements, automation efforts, and process improvements
