Xe.com is a global leader in currency exchange and international money transfers, providing a comprehensive range of currency services. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for converting qualified opportunities into active corporate clients, managing the entire process from discovery to onboarding and first trade, while collaborating with various teams to ensure a strong client experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage opportunities end-to-end from discovery through onboarding and first trade
- Run structured discovery to understand FX exposure, payment flows and risk management needs
- Lead solution positioning, pricing discussions and deal conversion
- Partner with Dealers, Credit and Compliance to execute deals efficiently and compliantly
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting and CRM hygiene
- Represent Xe at events, webinars and partner activities as required
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in B2B sales, business development, or a customer-facing commercial role
- Ability to utilize technology to broaden the reach of the lead generation activities and identify buyers' intent through the conversion funnel
- Confidence engaging business owners, CFOs and senior finance stakeholders
- Strong commercial discipline and ability to progress deals through the full sales cycle
- Clear communication skills with the ability to listen, discover needs and articulate value
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools to manage activity, pipeline and reporting
- High ownership, resilience and a collaborative, team-first approach
- Working knowledge of global markets, interest rates and their impact on the FX market highly preferred
