Mission Critical Electrical Cx Engineer

NV5 is a provider of engineering and consulting services to public and private sector clients. They are seeking a self-motivated Electrical Lead Commissioning Authority to join their Mission Critical team, responsible for technical delivery, communication with stakeholders, and leading commissioning schedules for Data Center projects.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the technical delivery both as a project lead and technical resource with minimal supervision while completing assignments that require independent judgement and evaluation
• Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors and other project team members
• Lead and maintain commissioning schedules including daily standup, 3-week look ahead and project specific resource loading
• Lead and organize the quality control and electrical testing teams on Mission Critical projects
• Manage the logistics for resource needs including staffing and test equipment specific to the project
• Facilitate issue resolution of testing failures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in medium and low-voltage electrical systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Experience in diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems
• Able to work as part of a team, think creatively, and problem solve
• Willingness to travel 75%+ as national level projects dictate
• Journeyman / Master Electrician
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
• Commissioning Certification
