Wish You Were Here Group (WYWHG) is a global hospitality company known for its design-forward restaurant and nightlife concepts. They are seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to lead the digital voice of their brands, developing and executing social strategies while driving engagement and brand awareness across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to elevate brand awareness, traffic, and engagement across WYWHG’s restaurant concepts
- Create and manage monthly editorial and visual calendars covering national and local initiatives
- Align content across teams including Marketing, Culinary, Operations, and Events
- Produce visually compelling photo, video, graphic, and written content that reflects each restaurant's unique identity
- Manage content development for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging digital platforms
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers, and content creators to deliver best-in-class creative assets
- Edit short-form video content optimized for digital storytelling
- Manage group-level accounts and support location-level pages to ensure brand consistency across all markets and properties
- Provide brand guidelines, templates, and posting toolkits to local teams
- Maintain the visual and strategic integrity of all WYWHG brands across platforms
- Monitor social channels, respond to comments and DMs, and foster authentic engagement
- Guide external community management partners when needed
- Engage influencers, loyal guests, brand advocates, and strategic partners
- Collaborate closely with PR teams and hotel partners
- Plan and execute social campaigns for new openings, partnerships, seasonal launches, and national promotions
- Support regional and local promotions with coordinated digital marketing efforts
- Write on-brand copy tailored to each venue’s distinct voice
- Lead digital collaborations, partnerships, and giveaways
- Track KPIs including reach, engagement, growth, and content performance
- Provide regular reporting with insights to guide content decisions and improve ROI
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in social media marketing, ideally in hospitality, restaurants, lifestyle, or consumer brands
- Experience managing multiple accounts or multi-location brands
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing tools
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling capabilities
- Understanding of platform algorithms, social trends, and best practices
- Experience with paid social and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
- A true passion for food, restaurants, culture, and guest experience
- Willingness to travel: 25%
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
