Senior Analyst Policy Research and Data

Power Brief is a company focused on bridging the gap between government actions and business decisions in the clean energy sector. They are seeking a Senior Analyst for Policy Research and Data who will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, synthesizing complex topics, and creating scalable tools to support the company's mission.

Requirements:

• Experience finding, cleaning, and conducting queries on large datasets in Excel
• Experience with government and regulatory processes, including knowing the credible secondary research sources
• A general 'can do' attitude and baseline experience using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Familiarity with policy, regulatory processes, or government data sources, and experience building research systems or trackers from scratch
• Experience specifically with clean energy policy topics
• Experience working in a small team, early-stage organization, or fast-paced environment where priorities shifted frequently and wearing multiple hats was the norm
• Eagerness using AI to improve workflows
