They are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead their Insights Product Line, focusing on strategic leadership, team management, and driving product growth and profitability in the energy sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of product managers and related staff ensuring development, mentoring and coaching of team members
- Encourage a culture of customer focused collaboration and innovation
- Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategic plan for the Insights products
- Clearly define measurable goals for the products and measure performance against those goals
- Manage Development Backlog
- Build and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap defined by market demand, company strategy and competitor analysis
- Communicate that roadmap both internally and externally
- Monitor and analyze customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape
- Use industry trends and customer feedback to inform product strategy
- Work closely with sales and marketing to define go-to-market strategy
- Collaborate with customer success to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor and measure product and feature adoption including onboarding, time to value, and NPS
- Drive growth and revenue generation strategies and work closely with sales to execute
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- 10 years in the energy industry
- 5 years in a leadership role
- 5 years of product management
- High level of numeracy, computer and web literacy
- High level of experience with use of PowerPoint, Excel & Word
- Experience with power systems software or software as a service/solution
- Knowledge of technical software for data analysis, consulting and project experience
- Energy industry product management
- Extensive experience with power and natural gas markets in North America, Europe, and Asia
- Strong interpersonal presence and skills - demonstrated ability to build rapport
- Proficient with corporate productivity and presentation tools such as MS Office
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a focus on quality
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
