SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager for a high-profile project. The candidate will lead and coordinate enterprise-wide PCI DSS compliance initiatives, overseeing project planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration while providing subject matter expertise on PCI DSS and cybersecurity project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee PCI DSS compliance initiatives from planning through execution and delivery
- Partner with the Enterprise PMO, IT PMO, Information Security Governance, and Lines of Business to coordinate enterprise PCI efforts
- Provide PCI DSS subject matter expertise, guidance, and coaching to project teams and stakeholders
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, reporting, and governance activities
- Coordinate and oversee internal resources, technical leads, SMEs, business partners, and third-party vendors involved in project execution
- Track project financials, support forecasting activities, and ensure successful delivery within established budget and timeline constraints
Requirements:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies
- 5+ years of project management experience with at least 5+ years supporting cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk initiatives
- Proven experience managing enterprise-wide PCI DSS compliance implementation projects, not limited to annual audits or assessments
- Experience working in banking/financial services
- Strong working knowledge of PCI DSS standards, controls, and compliance frameworks
- Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives involving technical teams, business stakeholders, PMOs, and third-party vendors
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and frameworks including NIST, cloud technologies, IAM, vulnerability management, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, technical teams, and business partners
- Experience managing project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting preferred
- PMP, CSM, CAPM, CSPM, CISSP-Associate, or equivalent certification preferred
