Clasp is a venture-backed startup transforming access to education and career pathways. They are seeking a Website Marketing Manager to own the website strategy, enhance user experience, and drive inbound growth while managing multiple audiences and content strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the site strategy to deliver large-scale inbound growth and exceptional experiences for organic inbound traffic, agentic LLM interactions and channel partnerships
- Own a strong POV on how the site should be structured to best serve our multiple audiences
- Own the site roadmap and prioritize ruthlessly given resource constraints
- Make and defend recommendations on CMS tooling (we're on Sanity today but open to change)
- Own SEO and GEO end-to-end: technical health, content strategy, agentic optimization, keyword targeting across B2B and D2C audiences
- Build and optimize conversion paths for each audience — employer pipeline, university inquiries, student acquisition
- Instrument the site properly: analytics, tracking, attribution; make sure we know what's working
- Own the publishing workflow — from brief to live — working with internal stakeholders and external contractors (copywriters, designers, developers) as needed
- Collaborate with peers to integrate dynamic content into the website from internal and external sources of truth
- Ensure the site reflects Clasp's brand with consistency and quality across every page
- Keep content current across a fast-moving policy and product landscape
- Manage external contractors and agency relationships as needed
- Be the internal point of contact for anything touching the website — eng, marketing, sales, leadership
- In collaboration with engineering and information security maintain the reliability and secure operations of the website
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of experience in digital marketing, web strategy, or growth — with at least some of that owning a website or web channel directly
- Demonstrated ability to think architecturally about multi-audience web experiences, not just execute on tasks
- Strong working knowledge of SEO and GEO (both technical and content-side)
- Experience and excellence with modern CMS platforms — Sanity, Webflow, Contentful, or comparable
- Analytically grounded: you use data to make decisions and can build the reporting infrastructure if it doesn't exist
- Strong writer and communicator — you'll be writing briefs, making recommendations to leadership, and occasionally writing copy yourself
- Proven experience leveraging AI tools to automate manual tasks and research & implement best practices in modern web marketing
- Experience with B2B and B2C audiences on the same site or domain family
- Familiarity with healthcare, HR tech, or fintech verticals
- Basic HTML/JS/CSS — enough to not be blocked when a developer isn't available
- Experience managing contractors or small agency relationships
