Molo is a non-bank lender that offers innovative mortgage solutions in the UK. They are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to manage the SQL-based data warehouse and provide actionable insights through data analysis and reporting, collaborating closely with stakeholders to meet business requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain various data sets within the data warehouse, ensuring they are properly integrated, well-structured, and fit for reporting and analysis
- Data mart development and support
- Design and optimise tables, views, and schemas to support Power BI reporting and ad‑hoc analysis
- Write, test, and maintain complex SQL transformations to prepare data for downstream consumption
- Effective management of ETL pipelines, data refresh schedules, and error handling
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse performance
- Analyse datasets using SQL to support production of MI
- Create new reports and analytics in support of business requirements
- Support the business in gathering business requirements and design of solutions
- Maintenance and support of existing reporting suite
- Deliver clear MI to stakeholders
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports following best practice
- Develop data models and calculations to support self-serve analytics
- Ensure dashboards are accurate and provide meaningful data to support business
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to define reporting requirements
- Present findings and data stories in a clear, compelling way for non-technical audiences
- Drive engagement and support from management on MI development strategy
- Validate data accuracy and consistency across multiple data sources
- Document data models and transformations utilised and maintain strong data governance
- Meet required processing timeframes, supporting operational SLAs
- Promote best practices in SQL, Power BI, and analytical thinking
- Where appropriate, support the training and development of colleagues to utilised Power BI to self-serve their reporting requirements
