The Principal Business Analyst will drive successful policy administration implementations by translating business requirements into execution-ready solutions and ensuring regulatory accuracy across workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle for P&C insurance policy administration implementations
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, workflows, and acceptance criteria
- Analyze and interpret ISO and NCCI regulatory updates to support compliant policy configuration and implementation
- Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and delivery teams to define scalable policy administration solutions
- Support Majesco Policy configuration across policy lifecycle, rating, underwriting, and policy processing workflows
- Manage and refine Agile backlogs to ensure development readiness and reduce downstream rework
- Conduct impact analysis and maintain traceability across requirements, testing, and implementation deliverables
- Define test scenarios and support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to align business objectives, technical requirements, and delivery priorities
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities that improve implementation quality and operational efficiency
Requirements:
- 8 plus years of experience as a Business Analyst within Property & Casualty insurance environments
- Strong expertise in P&C insurance operations including Policy, Rating, and Underwriting
- Experience interpreting ISO and NCCI circulars and translating regulatory changes into business and system requirements
- Hands-on experience with policy administration platforms such as Majesco, Guidewire, or Duck Creek
- Experience supporting insurance software implementations or digital transformation programs
- Strong Agile delivery experience including backlog management, sprint planning, and JIRA usage
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex workflows and drive alignment across business and technical teams
