Jade Street Consulting Inc. is a fast-growing boutique CPG brokerage known for partnering with emerging and high-growth brands in the grocery, natural, and sports nutrition channels. They are currently seeking a Texas-based Senior Account Manager to lead and grow their portfolio across key Texas retailers, focusing on building strong relationships and driving brand growth in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong buyer and category manager relationships across Texas retailers
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Jade Street brands and retailer teams
- Manage retailer communication, follow-ups, and strategic account development
- Drive new item authorizations, distribution gains, and expansion opportunities
- Identify opportunities for line reviews, void fills, and promotional activity
- Develop strategic sales plans to support long-term brand growth
- Build and manage promotional calendars and retailer programming
- Analyze promotional effectiveness and support brand ROI initiatives
- Work closely with brands on pricing, assortment, and retail positioning
- Work closely with distributors including UNFI and KeHE where applicable
- Support onboarding, execution, and retailer-specific processes
- Maintain trackers, retailer updates, and sales reporting internally
Requirements:
- Must currently live in Texas
- 5+ years experience in CPG sales, brokerage, retail buying, or account management
- Strong understanding of grocery distribution with UNFI / KEHE, category reviews, promotions, and retail strategy
- Highly organized with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable managing multiple brands and priorities simultaneously
- Existing relationships with Whole Foods, H-E-B, Central Market, Brookshire Grocery, or Brookshire Brothers strongly preferred
- Experience working with emerging brands preferred
