Open Energy Transition (OET) is a mission-driven, registered non-profit organization focused on advancing the global energy transition through innovative open-source tools and data solutions. They are seeking a Marketing & Content Design Specialist to enhance their brand visibility and create engaging content across various platforms, playing a key role in the marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Refine, maintain, and scale a cohesive design system to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high-quality design across product, brand, and communications
- Produce compelling templates and visuals for reports, presentations, marketing campaigns, social media, planning docs, and more
- Write and develop content for social media, website pages, and marketing materials, translating complex topics into clear, engaging narratives tailored to different audiences
- Work closely within the Marketing Team to execute campaigns and communications across channels, including social media accounts, Google Ads, our CRM system (Hubspot), etc
- Create and iterate on web page layouts, and graphics for our digital platforms, based on our design system. Design new websites for future projects. Work closely with our Software Engineers, and make their jobs easier by facilitating automation of design system implementation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in a Marketing and Design role
- Proven experience with, among other things: Copy writing on complex technical topics, Design system development, Corporate branding and identity, Graphic design for print and digital, Presentation and publication design, Marketing Campaigns & Ads
- Experience working with Figma, and the Adobe Creative Cloud (we will consider equivalent design software, so long as it meets the role's output requirements)
- Fluency in English (written and verbal). Other languages are a bonus
- A portfolio (PDF or link), showcasing your work is required. This may also be an Instagram or other social media account, so long as it's broad enough and representative of what you can do
- A university degree in design/marketing or a similar field may be considered a bonus
