PR Manager

Magnet Defense LLC is a global leader in fully autonomous defense platforms for global maritime coverage. They are seeking a highly motivated PR Manager to develop and execute strategic communications that enhance the company’s visibility and stakeholder engagement in the defense industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement integrated PR strategies aligned with corporate goals, government relations priorities, and program milestones
• Build and maintain relationships with defense, technology, and trade journalists; coordinate media outreach, briefings, and press engagements
• Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, executive speeches, op-eds, and thought leadership content that accurately reflect company achievements and values
• Support incident response and reputation management efforts, ensuring timely, compliant, and coordinated communication
• Uphold consistent corporate messaging across internal and external channels, including events, website, and social media (where appropriate)
• Prepare executives for interviews, panels, and public appearances; provide talking points, Q&As, and media coaching
• Partner with Business Development, Program Management, Legal, and Government Affairs teams to ensure all communications are accurate, compliant, and strategically aligned
• Track and analyze PR performance, media coverage, and sentiment to refine communication strategies and demonstrate measurable impact
