ThirdLaw is building the control layer for AI in the enterprise, addressing safety, compliance, and operational risks associated with AI adoption. The Full-stack AI Application Engineer will work with a team to develop and maintain features for an AI-native platform, ensuring high-quality application experiences and enabling safe AI-powered innovation.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll work within a small but mighty team of AI engineers and backend engineers to build and maintain application features for AI-native platform
- Every day, you will build new and innovative product features. Most of them ground up, from scratch, with your impact as clear as day. We value building high quality application experiences
- Start-up responsibility; you are the first and often last stop on whether a feature is good or great
Requirements:
- Ability to ship quality apps at scale: You have experience working with a team to build and maintain quality apps for an opinionated data-driven enterprise audience
- You're familiar with Typescript, React and have handled UI, networking, and threading
- Thoughtful problem-solving: For you, problem-solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context
- You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates
- You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck
- Pragmatic and business-oriented: You care about business impact and prioritize projects accordingly
- You're not just going after cool stuff—you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line
