Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables everyone to find the answers they need in real time, using all their data, at scale. They are seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager for Observability to craft narratives, drive go-to-market strategies, and represent Elastic in the community, focusing on their observability products.
Responsibilities:
- Own messaging and positioning : Craft differentiated, compelling narratives for Elastic Observability that resonate with both practitioners and decision makers
- Drive go-to-market strategy end-to-end : Define and lead GTM for new launches and campaigns from strategy through execution and track metrics
- Enable the field : Build training and content that empowers sales, solutions engineering, and customer success to tell the Elastic story with confidence
- Represent Elastic in the community : Attend and present at trade shows, conferences, and industry events. Some travel required
Requirements:
- Direct experience with Observability, DevOps, or cloud-native infrastructure use cases
- Curiosity about the 'how' of technology, paired with the storytelling instinct to explain the 'why' to any audience
- A track record of crafting engaging content through blog posts, presentations, demos, videos that makes technical ideas accessible and compelling
- Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to audiences of all sizes, from an intimate field briefing to a conference keynote
- Experience collaborating across a highly cross-functional, globally distributed team
- Background in observability and prior experience as an SRE, platform engineer, solutions engineer, or consultant
