Corksy is a modern commerce and point-of-sale platform built for wineries, and they are seeking a Customer Success Account Manager to support their winery clients. This role involves owning client relationships from onboarding to renewal, ensuring clients receive value from the platform and fully adopt its features.
Responsibilities:
- Own a portfolio of winery accounts and serve as their primary point of contact
- Guide new clients through onboarding and platform setup, ensuring a smooth launch
- Drive product adoption across DTC shipping, wine club, reservations, and POS features
- Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to understand client goals and surface opportunities
- Proactively identify and resolve issues before they become churn risks
- Partner with Support, Product, and Sales to advocate for client needs internally
- Travel to client sites, tasting rooms, and industry events to build relationships in person
Requirements:
- Based in California — this is a requirement for the role
- 1+ years of customer support experience
- Technical and good understanding of eCommerce
- Willing and able to travel to client sites and industry events as needed
- Previous wine industry experience (winery, distributor, hospitality, or wine tech)
- 2+ years in customer success, account management, or a client-facing role
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, relationship-first approach
- Comfortable learning and explaining software; able to translate features into client value
- Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple accounts at once
- Experience with DTC wine commerce, wine clubs, or tasting room operations
- Familiarity with POS systems, e-commerce platforms, or SaaS tools
- An existing network within the California wine community
