Sr. Financial Analyst, Strategic Sourcing

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is a leading global company known for its innovative tools and technology. They are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for their Strategic Sourcing team, responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives, delivering financial insights, and enhancing internal efficiencies across the sourcing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage your financial expertise to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, deliver actionable insights, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization
• Provide support for weekly scorecards, monthly forecasting, audit reporting and closing as well as work on strategic projects
• Develop and deploy scalable processes, playbooks, standardized tools, and reporting capabilities to enhance visibility, improve internal efficiencies, and facilitate achievement of business targets across the sourcing organization
• Analyze current and historical trends in key performance indicators to inform decision-making, identify productivity opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
• Partner on special projects, key business initiatives, and supplier proposals, providing recommendations and comprehensive financial analysis to inform objective decision-making aligned with category strategies for specified categories

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ plus years of prior related experience
• Working knowledge of ERP and Financial reporting systems such as SAP, Hyperion, Essbase
• Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
• Prior experience with analytics tools such as Power BI and Alteryx
