Software Engineer (Python, React) | Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Fullstack Engineer proficient in Python and React. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications while collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality features.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python, React, Django, and Flask
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend and third-party systems
• Develop and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using tools such as Pytest and Jest
• Utilize Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python, Django, Flask, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating external services
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and relational database design
• Experience with Git workflows, Docker containerization, and CI/CD practices
• Strong experience across both frontend and backend development
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within Agile teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing
