Butler Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their manufacturing engineering team. The role focuses on developing work breakdown structures for manufacturing work plans and requires experience in aerospace final assembly and installation.
Responsibilities:
- Review design engineering drawings and parts lists
- Develop work breakdown structure based on customers time and set aircraft build sequence
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience with Degree, 8 years without
- ABET accredited technical degree (i.e. Engineering, Engineering Technology) or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
- Manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace final assembly and installation
- Prior experience with structuring manufacturing work plans for first aircraft build
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to interpret engineering data, including 2D drawings and bill of material
- Proficient in software MESCI, CAPP, GOLDESP
- Able to read data in REDARS, IVT, ENOVIA, and CATIA
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Boeing aircraft programs and software/systems
- Able to write planning work packages produced in MESci using the BOM and CAPP modules
