Allstate is seeking a User Experience Designer Manager to join its team. This leadership role is responsible for applying expertise in human capabilities, technology, and industry best practices to design user interfaces for complex and strategic initiatives. The role leads a team of user experience designers to create innovative, intuitive, and user-friendly solutions for customers, consumers, and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Anticipates UX operational issues and develops preventative measures
- Recognizes gaps in UX processes and recommends holistic solutions
- Provides direct reports clear, actionable feedback on performance
- Builds cross-functional partnerships enabling the team to execute on a UX strategy
- Applies people and project management skills to ensure team delivers best-in-class product and services to market
- Provides direction and guidance for user experience team members on work priorities, performance, and career development
- Partners with business stakeholders to help understand upcoming design needs and operating strategies
- Oversees day-to-day operations and performance of user experience team
Requirements:
- 4 year Bachelors Degree
- 7 or more years of related experience
- 5 or more years in people management
- This job has supervisory duties
