Sonia Health is an AI-powered mental health companion and coach, and they are seeking a Head of Growth to build and operate their consumer acquisition engine from the ground up. This role involves managing a high-velocity experimentation system and ensuring trust and credibility in all consumer touchpoints while driving growth and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Build and operate a high-velocity consumer growth engine — running 5–10 parallel experiments in 2–4 week cycles; this system must be designed from scratch
- Own the full consumer flywheel: awareness, acquisition, activation, retention, revenue, and referral — including website and app store top-of-funnel, inbound media conversion, onboarding activation, and early retention mechanics
- Define, instrument, and report on growth experiments — hypothesis, metrics, cross-functional coordination, results, and iteration plan
- Select, prioritize, and automate channels across content marketing and paid performance; begin with channel selection discipline (identifying what not to run) before scaling execution
- Co-develop and execute PR and creator strategy with Blake Mycoskie (weekly collaboration); Blake provides network access and strategic direction — you own execution and iteration velocity
- Build conviction and propose spend budgets to the CFO; advocate for resources based on validated signals — spend authority scales with demonstrated signal quality, not a fixed allocation
- Translate growth strategy into OKRs and key results; maintain structured operating rhythms aligned to company L10 cadence
- Ensure trust and credibility are central to every consumer touchpoint — messaging must build emotional safety, not just drive clicks; this is an operational constraint, not a brand positioning exercise
- Lay groundwork for a potential B2B motion (12–18 months out) but own consumer exclusively in the near term
