Alloy Health is a digital health brand focused on women's health, seeking a hands-on Senior Product Manager to oversee the launch and growth of their iOS mobile app and enhance customer retention. The role involves managing product development, defining user experiences, and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end roadmap and delivery of Alloy's iOS mobile app, from v1 launch through subsequent releases
- Lead product and technical program management for the app end-to-end — owning sprint cadences, backlog grooming, timeline tracking, and cross-functional coordination in Jira without a dedicated TPM counterpart
- Define and own the in-app and web onboarding experience, ensuring new customers reach meaningful engagement milestones early in their lifecycle
- Own feature prioritization across customer needs, clinical context, and business goals — balancing immediate build velocity with longer-term retention strategy and triaging commercial requests against roadmap without losing sight of either
- Write clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering — driving decisions through cross-functional alignment rather than unilaterally, in an environment where buy-in is as critical as velocity
- Translate brand and design standards into product decisions — ensuring the app and web experience feel cohesive, premium, and on-brand
- Partner closely with the VP of Product on retention strategy, taking on web-based retention ownership as the team scales
- Track key retention and engagement metrics and use data to inform product decisions
- Synthesize qualitative signals — customer interviews, support themes, clinical feedback — alongside quantitative data to inform roadmap decisions
- Own the post-purchase digital experience, identifying friction points in the customer lifecycle and driving improvements through structured experimentation
- Collaborate with lifecycle marketing on notification strategy and triggered messaging, ensuring in-app and push channels are informed by product behavior and tied to measurable retention outcomes
- Partner with the Site Merchandising Manager on shared surfaces — including navigation, taxonomy, personalization logic, and on-site promotional experiences — ensuring the commercial calendar and product roadmap stay aligned
- Own the platform capabilities (recommendation engines, landing page templates, testing infrastructure) that the merchandising function depends on to execute; serve as the intake point for near-term commercial feature requests and sequence them against roadmap priorities
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, clinical, operations, and marketing
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience (or compressed experience through a high-growth or early-stage environment), or a combination of engineering and PM experience that demonstrates strong technical fluency and independent product ownership
- Hands-on experience launching an iOS app: you've shipped a v1 and lived through what that takes
- Comfortable owning project management in the absence of a dedicated PM/TPM counterpart: you know how to run a sprint, manage a backlog, and keep a build on track
- Demonstrated understanding of how brand and UX intersect — you've worked on products where the experience itself is a competitive differentiator
- Strong written communication — you write requirements and specs that leave little room for interpretation
- You thrive in ambiguity and can create structure where none exists — without waiting for permission to do so
- You lead through influence, not authority — building alignment across engineering, design, clinical, and commercial stakeholders
- You hold a high bar for craft and experience, and you understand why that matters in a premium health brand
- Experience in digital health, femtech, or a regulated consumer health product is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the subscription model and customer lifecycle is a plus — particularly in a D2C environment
- Experience with A/B testing, retention tooling (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Amplitude), or experimentation frameworks is a plus
- Comfortable working alongside a merchandising or commercial function — able to triage near-term business requests against longer-horizon product investments without losing either
