Metasys Technologies is a mission-driven organization seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to provide critical support for enterprise financial and operational systems. The role involves ensuring system stability, usability, and effective end-user support while collaborating with various teams to improve business processes and system functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a senior functional lead supporting core enterprise financial and operational systems, ensuring stability, usability, and effective end-user support across business teams
- Administer and enhance workflow automation platforms, including maintaining existing workflows, forms, access controls, system updates, and issue resolution
- Support ERP administration, system maintenance activities, release testing, upgrades, and ongoing optimization efforts in partnership with internal technical teams
- Assist with expense management system support, particularly related to integrations, troubleshooting, configuration changes, and coordination with business stakeholders
- Monitor and triage system support requests, prioritize issues appropriately, and drive timely resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Partner closely with accounting, finance, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, IT, and business operations teams to understand system needs and improve business processes
- Collaborate with external vendors, implementation partners, and support providers to coordinate issue resolution, enhancements, and professional services engagements
- Contribute technical and functional leadership to enterprise initiatives involving finance systems modernization, automation, workflow improvements, and business process transformation
- Support compliance-related workflows, documentation processes, and operational system changes driven by evolving business or regulatory requirements
- Participate in testing initiatives, including regression testing, automated testing improvements, and validation of system enhancements prior to deployment
- Assist with ERP evaluation, enhancement, or consolidation efforts by contributing analysis, business requirements, and solution recommendations
- Support reporting and data visibility initiatives by partnering with analytics or business intelligence teams to improve operational insights and decision-making
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating functional needs into practical systems solutions and communicating project progress clearly
- Participate in recurring stakeholder meetings, project working sessions, and operational reviews to provide updates, track action items, and maintain alignment across teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ERP Systems Analyst, Financial Systems Analyst, or similar enterprise systems support role
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting ERP or financial platforms in a complex business environment
- Strong experience supporting enterprise financial systems, ERP platforms, expense management tools, or workflow automation solutions
- Working knowledge of accounting and finance business processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting
- Experience supporting enterprise systems integrations between ERP, workflow, financial, or adjacent business applications
- Familiarity with system release cycles, upgrades, regression testing, and change management processes
- Experience troubleshooting system issues, managing support tickets, and delivering timely issue resolution for business users
- Experience working with third-party vendors, implementation consultants, or managed service providers supporting enterprise systems
- Ability to gather business requirements, analyze workflows, identify process improvement opportunities, and recommend scalable technical solutions
- Experience supporting workflow automation, digital forms, approval routing, or process orchestration platforms
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable stepping into complex environments with limited ramp-up time
- Experience supporting Deltek Costpoint, SAP Concur, or similar enterprise financial systems
- Prior experience supporting accounting, finance, nonprofit, education, government, or grant-funded organizations
- Familiarity with ERP modernization, integration projects, or enterprise systems transformation initiatives
- Experience with reporting, dashboards, or business intelligence tools
- Exposure to workflow automation or low-code platforms
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and ERP release validation processes
- Technical knowledge of integrations, APIs, SQL, scripting, or related systems support capabilities
- Prior accounting or finance practitioner experience is highly valued
- Deltek Costpoint is a must have, Concur and Nutrient Integrity would be nice to have along with Cognos
