This role involves shaping the future of identity experiences, focusing on authentication, security, and user trust while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable design patterns.
Responsibilities:
- Drive High-Impact Identity Experiences: Own the design of multiple end-to-end identity, access, and account initiatives. Deliver high-quality work that balances user needs with critical business objectives
- Balance Business and User Needs: Seek the “why” behind every product effort. Actively identify business needs and constraints, and clearly articulate the user benefits of your design decisions
- Structure Complex Problems: Take deeply ambiguous problems involving global privacy, legal, consent, and technical constraints, and break them down into manageable, scalable user experiences and flows
- Shape Scalable Identity Patterns: Responsibly leverage existing design systems to maintain consistency, while creating new, scalable patterns when new needs arise in the Identity space
- Collaborate and Communicate: Build strong, trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders. Proactively share work in progress, invite feedback, and advocate for rigorous QA to ensure implementation upholds a high bar for quality
Requirements:
- Expert Craft & Execution: You have a deep mastery of product design workflows, tools, and methods. You consistently produce deliverables that are admired and cited as great examples
- Problem-Solving & Scalability: You are highly capable of identifying, organizing, and structuring complex problems. You propose well-considered, holistic solutions that take higher-order implications (like brand trust) into account
- Business-Minded Context: You are fluent in connecting your daily design work to broader company strategies and metrics. You make sound decisions and apply good judgment even when working with incomplete information
- Proactive Partner: You don't just take orders; you initiate tactical discussions with stakeholders, actively listen to feedback, and are sought out by team members for your counsel
- Working in Ambiguity: You are comfortable operating in evolving environments where systems, ownership, and requirements are still being defined
- Domain Experience: Designing for identity, security, authentication, privacy, or global platforms is not required, but a strong plus
