Zurich North America is a leader in risk management, and they are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a team in the West Division. This role is responsible for the profitable growth and development of Account Executives and Insurance Sales Professionals, implementing strategic objectives to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for profitable growth and development of Account Executives and Insurance Sales Professionals
- Implement strategic and tactical objectives as they relate to Zurich's overall sales strategy to achieve and sustain profitable growth
- Analyze and provide strategic direction to the team of Sales Professionals to advance Zurich's position in the marketplace
- Drive sales efforts in the field and represent the Zurich Team in leadership meetings, association meetings, and industry activities
- Oversee cross-team sales initiatives as needed
- Maintain responsibility for customer issues and/or challenges in the region
- Leadership activities include planning, budgeting, coaching, interviewing/selection, and performance management
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Outside Sales area OR
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Outside Sales area
- Experience with the principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology
- Experience working within a regulatory environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience analyzing financial statements and reports
- Licensed to sell insurance products
- Superior Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Thorough understanding of the principles of Property & Casualty along with F&I sales, F&I sales techniques, and F&I sales terminology
- Prior management/supervisory experience is a plus
- Recent demonstrated and documented success relative to New Business Acquisition, along with consistent goal achievement
- Broad knowledge of the automotive segment customers' business and operations with the ability to forge and build relationships therein
