Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to support Compliance and Regulatory Reporting initiatives within a large banking environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in validating data pipelines, regulatory reports, and reporting platforms within a TechOps/Data ecosystem. This role involves ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data used for regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of regulatory reporting systems, including data ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation across upstream and downstream systems
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data and reporting workflows
• Conduct functional, system integration, regression, and UAT testing
• Perform data validation using SQL queries and compare results across databases and reports
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and compliance teams to understand regulatory requirements
• Identify, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or ALM
• Support validation of key regulatory frameworks such as:
• CCAR / CECL
• Basel / Liquidity Reporting
• FR Y-14 / FR Y-9C
• AML / Risk & Compliance reporting
• KYC/CIP/AML/OFAC
• Regulatory requirements like (B, O, E, S, Z etc..)
• SR 11-7
• BCBS 239
• 1071 Compliance
• Participate in data lineage and data quality validation activities
• Ensure compliance with internal governance and external regulatory standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of QA experience, with at least 3+ years in banking or financial services
• Strong experience in data testing and reporting validation
• Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, data reconciliation)
• Hands-on experience with ETL testing and data warehousing concepts
• Indepth knowledge and experience in nCino Loan Platform
• Experience working in large enterprise/TechOps environments
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks
• Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, etc.)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data platforms(Hadoop, Spark, Databricks)
• Exposure to BI/reporting tools(Tableau, Power BI, Cognos)
• Understanding of data governance, data lineage, and data quality frameworks
• Automation testing experience (Selenium, Python, etc.) is a plus
• Prior experience working with Regulatory or Risk Reporting teams
