Sigma is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Customer Service Representative to join their Supply Chain department. This role involves monitoring shipment transactions, tracking warehouse inventory using SAP, and collaborating across departments to ensure accurate inventory management and timely order processing.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor imports and inbound/outbound orders; track product progress and reconcile data within SAP
- Review and maintain warehouse inventory and handling units to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate overages, shortages, and damage claims with customers and distribution centers
- Resolve order and product-related issues
- Prepare and generate product reports and claims
- Track requests, process hold releases, and communicate product status updates
- Process withdrawals or recalls in support of Quality Assurance functions
- Collaborate with Product Management to ensure timely handling of loads by contracted warehouses
- Provide Bills of Lading to internal customers as needed
- Coordinate product samples and Point of Purchase (POP) deliveries with external vendors
Requirements:
- Four years of experience in inventory management
- Experience with enterprise WMS and/or SAP
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Experience in the CPG or food industry
- Four years of warehousing experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
