Chem-Aqua, Inc. is a subsidiary of NCH Corporation, focused on optimizing water treatment solutions. The Senior Product Manager will oversee the product portfolio, improve margin performance, and collaborate with sales and marketing to enhance product offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Champion a comprehensive product mix to drive margin accretion
- Lead rationalization of the product slate in partnership with the business
- Develop new products and programs in partnership with marketing and R&D
- Manage cost of goods and increase the profitability of the product line
- Partner with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and process technology to ensure product quality and drive total costs down
- Play a prominent advisory role in developing pricing strategies in the region, working closely with regional pricing leads and setting the list prices and target prices
- Partner with sales in key deals/proposal development to increase win rate
- For select mid-level deals or campaigns in key growth platforms, regional product managers will bring product and industry depth and help the sales and marketing teams in developing winning proposals
- Develop key sales playbooks that prioritize growth segments and differentiated technologies – coach the teams on where to play and how to win
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or better in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other scientific/ engineering discipline
- 5+ years' experience in Water Treatment (cooling and boiler specifically)
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and project management skills
- Experienced understanding of water treatment chemistry and chemical formulations
- Strategic thinker and problem solver who has the ability to apply analytic solutions to business problems
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across multiple teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and leadership skills, ability to motivate team members
- Strong written and oral presentation skills (in English)
- Candidates with experience in technical applications, product management, marketing, procurement, or technical sales are preferred
