SunSource is one of North America’s leading value-add industrial distribution companies, and they are seeking a driven, solutions-focused Outside Sales Account Manager to join their Fluid Power division. The role involves developing and executing a strategic sales plan, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan in collaboration with your District Sales Manager
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and presentations
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with existing customers across a defined territory
- Leverage support from expert inside sales and technical teams to deliver value-added solutions
- Use CRM tools and data insights to effectively manage your pipeline and territory
Requirements:
- 3+ years of B2B industrial sales experience (Fluid Power sales is a strong plus and preferred)
- Hands-on experience with fluid power systems, components, and troubleshooting is a big advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Computer and technology proficient including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ability to learn and effectively use CRM systems and related apps
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally overnight
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a 2-year technical degree (Fluid Power focus preferred)
