Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Dragos, Inc. is a market leader in ICS/OT Cybersecurity, dedicated to defending industrial organizations. They are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their Quality Engineering team, focusing on testing the Dragos Platform and ensuring high product quality through automated testing and collaboration with product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain tests and test pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Triage and maintain automated regression tests as well as performing manual tests as needed
• Raise defects to your Product Team and file tickets with appropriate information in Jira
• Collaborate with Product and Community teams to automate the validation of features
• Provide feedback on new system features, advocating for testability and ease of automation
• Innovate to improve test capabilities and procedures to achieve increased efficiency in the validation of product features
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities to prioritize & execute tasks in a high-pressure and time-to-market environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in a Test role
• Experience using AI tooling to assist in testing and coding
• Strong command of UNIX/Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces, from an administrative perspective
• Strong experience with Python, Pytest, Playwright, Jenkins, Github Actions, and Git
• Demonstrated expertise with and understanding of containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Demonstrated expertise with automating tests against REST API endpoints as well as frontend automation using tools like Playwright
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems
• Excellent communication skills, fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior team members
