SunSource is one of North America’s leading value-add industrial distribution companies, providing customers with products and value-added solutions within Fluid Power and Fluid Process. In this role, you will develop new business in the Fluid Process industry, supported by a knowledgeable customer service team to meet and exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Work with your Manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
- Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, customer site visits and sales presentations
- Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams who will assist you in meeting and exceeding your goals
- Utilization of tools, resources and CRM to plan and manage time and territory
Requirements:
- 2 year technical, industrial and/or business degree OR any suitable combination of education, training and experience
- 2+ years increasing sales experience, with at least 1-year of industrial sales, preferably in fluid process, fluid handling or fluid filtration systems
- Experience with industrial filtration products and customers is a great plus!
- Previous experience selling industrial pumps, seals and repair services beneficial
- Ability to establish and maintain business relationships
- Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency is required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Overnight travel may be required
