Senior Service Designer

Introduction
We are seeking a talented Service Designer/UX professional to join our team and work with a utility client. As a Service Designer, you will be responsible for creating seamless and user-friendly experiences for our clients'' customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of service solutions that meet the needs of the utility client''s customers
- Conduct user research to understand customer behaviors, preferences, and pain points
- Create user personas, customer journey maps, and service blueprints
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and goals
- Design and prototype digital and physical service touchpoints
- Test and iterate on service designs based on user feedback and usability testing
- Ensure consistency and coherence across all service touchpoints
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in service design and UX
- Communicate design concepts and recommendations to internal teams and clients
- Work closely with developers and other team members to implement service solutions
Requirements
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Service Designer, UX Designer, or similar role
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience working in agile development environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with utility clients or in the energy sector
- Knowledge of service design frameworks such as Service Design Thinking or Design Thinking
- Experience conducting usability testing and user research
- Ability to create interactive prototypes using tools like InVision or Axure
- Understanding of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
