Houtz Insurance LLC is seeking an experienced and highly organized Vice President of Global Project Management to lead the company’s enterprise-wide project management strategy and global program delivery initiatives. The role involves overseeing complex cross-functional projects across international markets while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the company’s global project management strategy, governance framework, and operational execution standards
- Oversee enterprise-wide programs and strategic initiatives across multiple business units, regions, and international markets
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations
- Establish project management methodologies, reporting structures, KPIs, and performance measurement systems
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize strategic initiatives and allocate resources effectively
- Lead project planning, risk management, change management, and operational improvement initiatives
- Monitor project portfolios, timelines, budgets, dependencies, and organizational priorities
- Drive operational scalability, process standardization, and continuous improvement across global operations
- Manage executive-level reporting, strategic dashboards, and board presentations related to major initiatives
- Support mergers and acquisitions integration, digital transformation, international expansion, and enterprise transformation programs when applicable
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing project management and program leadership teams across regions
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and alignment across departments and international stakeholders
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in project management, program management, operations leadership, or enterprise transformation roles
- Proven experience leading large-scale global projects and cross-functional initiatives within multinational organizations
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, Lean, or hybrid frameworks
- Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, regions, and business functions
- Strong executive communication and presentation capabilities
- Experience managing budgets, resource planning, forecasting, and operational reporting
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth, and matrixed business environments
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Project Management, or related field required
- MBA or PMP certification preferred
- Experience in technology, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, finance, or multinational enterprise environments
- Background in digital transformation, ERP implementation, or operational scaling initiatives
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions integration or international expansion programs
- Familiarity with enterprise project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, or similar platforms
- Experience managing globally distributed teams and remote operations
- Lean Six Sigma or other operational excellence certifications are a plus
