Backend Software Engineer | Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Backend C#/.NET Developer for a contract position. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs, ensuring high standards of code quality and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using C# and .NET frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Ensure high standards of code quality, reliability, and security in all backend implementations
• Optimize existing backend processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues efficiently in production and staging environments
• Document technical specifications and backend architecture clearly for team collaboration

Requirements:

• Have expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Have strong experience with MySQL databases, including schema design and query optimization
• Have a solid understanding of server-side logic, RESTful API development, and integration patterns
• Have a track record of writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and collaboration
