Job Title: CMDB ServiceNow Developer (ITOM Technical Consultant)
Location: USA Remote
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant with expertise in CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
Key Responsibilities:
CMDB:
- Experience with CMDB/AMDB processes, data models, configuration, and data cleanup.
- Strong knowledge of CSDM, CMDB Health Dashboards, Normalization, Identification & Reconciliation.
- Experience in Service Catalog development, ServiceNow customization, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Design and implement automated processes for CMDB data collection and maintenance.
- Minimum 2 years of CSDM-led CMDB implementation experience.
Discovery:
- Configure, implement, and maintain ServiceNow Discovery solutions.
- Develop custom Discovery Patterns, Probes, Sensors, and integrations.
- Configure and manage MID Servers.
- Troubleshoot Discovery issues and optimize workflows.
- Minimum 3 years of Discovery implementation experience.
Service Mapping:
- Implement and maintain Service Mapping solutions for business-critical services.
- Develop custom Service Mapping patterns and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams, application owners, and business stakeholders.
- Create and validate Service Maps and maintain CMDB relationships.
- Minimum 5 years of Service Mapping implementation experience.
