Diverse Lynx is seeking dedicated and compassionate Wellness Coordinators to handle inbound and outbound calls related to behavioral and medical support, primarily focused on autism care. This role involves working closely with healthcare providers and members to ensure timely assistance, coordination of care, and accurate information delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls from healthcare providers and members
- Identify caller needs including benefits, eligibility, authorizations, and referrals
- Provide clear and accurate information to support positive outcomes
- Perform real-time documentation while managing calls efficiently
- Collect and organize clinical information for review by licensed professionals
- Coordinate with providers to verify information, benefits, and authorizations
- Make outbound calls to families to assist with behavioral health needs and provider referrals (autism-focused)
- Navigate multiple systems to resolve inquiries on the first call whenever possible
- Support care coordination by collaborating with internal clinical teams
- Perform administrative follow-ups and ensure timely case handling
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED or higher
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience
- Minimum 2 years of call center experience
- At least 1 year of work-from-home experience
- Internet speed of minimum 30 Mbps download & upload
- Experience in medical or behavioral health settings (hospital, managed care, outpatient, etc.)
- Familiarity with care coordination and benefit management
- Knowledge of community-based resources and services
- Experience handling sensitive healthcare-related communications
