The Emily Program is dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care for those recovering from eating disorders. The Business Analyst will support IT and technology-enabled business initiatives by bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Create and maintain artifacts such as BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and user stories
- Validate requirements with stakeholders and maintain traceability throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze current-state workflows and identify opportunities for improvement
- Define future-state processes aligned with system capabilities and regulatory needs
- Document impacts, dependencies, and transition considerations
- Partner with Project Managers to support planning, scope definition, and delivery
- Support intake, estimation, and prioritization activities
- Assist with testing, UAT coordination, and validation of outcomes
- Ensure alignment with PMO standards and governance
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional teams
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams
- Communicate requirements and impacts clearly
- Support change management by documenting workflow and role impacts
- Partner with business owners on training, communication, and readiness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT or enterprise initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience supporting clinical systems, EHR platforms, or healthcare technology implementations
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Experience working within a PMO or structured governance environment
- CBAP, CCBA, or similar Business Analyst certification
